Giving Back

Sital is a passionate and committed supporter of youth initiatives.
He has been a mentor and trainer for non-profit organisations such as the East London Business Alliance (ELBA) whose innovative programmes help graduates from the high unemployment areas of London’s Tower Hamlets region to enter the job market.

He has worked alongside City institutions such as Credit Suisse, CitiBank and Morgan Stanley in equipping such individuals with the key skills and knowledge required to take the first steps into the corporate world and so become role models within their communities.

 

To coincide with his 40th birthday in September 2010, Sital set himself the challenge of raising £16,000 over the next 12 months to sponsor the education of 10 girls in India for the next 10 years. Working with the charity Room To Read, committed to supporting their innovative Girls Education Programme.

Over the 12 month period he organised a group sky dive, the 3 peaks mountain challenge, a poker tournament and two charity walks.

By the end of 2011, he had broken the £16k target and raised at total of £20,500 – which will sponsor the education of 13 girls over next 10 years in India.
