Just seen a very useful post on Jason Alba’s Jibber Jobber blog.

Jason (the author of the excellent book, “I’m on LinkedIn – Now What???”), points out how LinkedIn currently have no back up system and so your profile, contacts and recommendations could all dissappear in the blink of an eye.

So if you have a LinkedIn profile and contacts, it would be wise to back up now.

It’s a simple 2 minute task - just follow the guidelines here.

    Sarah,

    Thank you for the link.

Yes,LinkedIn is becoming more and more important.

And not just for job seekers.

It is becoming a reference point for business in general – as well as putting you on the ‘radar’ as a passive candidate for headhunters and in-house recruiters.

In the current market, it’s good to have options and be on other people’s rader.
